Monadnock Imaging opened in November 2007 in place of the former Ray's Camera store. Ray's was a well known establisment in Keene for over a decade, founded by Ray Stockwell. Monadnock Imaging is located in the same space As Ray's Camera and although there is a new feel to the store, there is a familiarity that is inexplicable at first glance. Here's a look at the Monadnock Imaging team.

Store owner Chris Cornell, a Ray's Camera employee for several years, as well as a certified Agfa lab technician, brings extensive photo experience to the new store. He has worked every facet of the business, from studio photography and advertising to lab maintenance and now CEO. He graduated from Skidmore with a bachelors in photography. His main challenges are keeping the store up to date with the ever changing photo-digital world as well as maintaining the integrity of the specialized, privately owned stores of downtown Keene, NH.

Store Manager Michael Torska has worked at Ray's Camera and now M.I. for over 8 years. He is well versed in the technical aspects of digital and film cameras as well as computer technology. He recieved his Bachelors degree in computer science from Keene State College in 2001. If you need to know what camera, or equipment is best for you, he's the guy to talk to.

Graphic Designer Sandy McNair has been working at the store for the past three years. Prior to that she has worked in the photo/ graphic industry for over nine years. She recieved her bachelors in Graphic design and printmaking from Plymouth State University. If you need a website designed, brochures, business cards, photo restorations or any other graphic needs, Sandy can help you create just what you are looking for. Sandy also runs the inhouse portrait studio.

Colleen Shaughnessy is in charge of The lab at Monadncok Imaging, where she has worked for three years. She is a recent graduate of Keene State College with a bachelors in broadcast Journalism and a minor in Art. She is knowledgeable with both film and digital photography as well as graphic design. She also photographs weddings on the side.

Laura Mann has worked at Ray's and Monadnock Imaging off and on for several years. She works in sales and in the lab. She is currently enrolled at Keene State College where she is studying Graphic Design and Studio Art. She has a vast knowledge of cameras, as well as the finishing end of photography.
